🔧 Construction

The housing is made of polyamide with UL 94 V-0 flammability classification. It features EPDM/NBR sealing elements, an NBR O-ring and stainless-steel locking screws. The angled cable outlet allows the cable to be routed laterally or in a straight direction.

💧 Protection & Operating Environment

Phoenix Contact documentation specifies an IP67 protection rating according to DIN IEC 60529, as well as IP65, for the VC-K-T3 housing, with an operating temperature range of -40 °C to +80 °C.

Important: The cable gland installed on the housing is clearly marked IP68 in the photographs. Therefore, it is correct to specify M25 IP68 cable gland, but IP68 should not be attributed to the complete housing, as the manufacturer's specified rating for the VC-K-T3 is IP67/IP65.

⚠️ Technical Note

The connector must not be connected or disconnected under load. The manufacturer also recommends using only undamaged components and inspecting the product before commissioning.
