Il Signum MFD è un metal detector professionale, computerizzato, multifrequenza e ad alta sensibilità, dotato dell'originale tecnologia brevettata SHF (Spatial Harmonic Filtering), una tecnologia digitale non analogica che migliora in modo significativo la qualità dell'identificazione dei bersagli metallici.

Hodograph Target Identification Technology
The key distinguishing feature of this metal detector, as well as all other AKA models, is its unique Hodograph Target Identification system. This technology allows users to identify targets with exceptional accuracy by analyzing their graphical hodograph signature, making target recognition fast, intuitive, and highly reliable. No other metal detector manufacturer offers a comparable identification system.
Three Independent Search Algorithms
The Signum MFD offers three selectable search algorithms, which can be thought of as three independent processing engines that control the detector differently depending on the search conditions, target type, and recovery speed required.
Each algorithm—MSF, SSF, and MM—has its own completely independent settings. For example, if you are using MM mode (designed for heavily contaminated sites and extremely fast target recovery), all of your settings, including discrimination, sensitivity, audio response, and other parameters, are saved specifically for that mode. When switching to another algorithm, such as SSF, you can use a completely different set of settings optimized for different search conditions without affecting the MM configuration.
SSF (Spatial Signal Filter)
The SSF algorithm is primarily intended for locations containing large flat iron objects or heavily rusted iron plates, which often produce mixed signals and may be mistakenly identified as non-ferrous targets.
When SSF is enabled, these false identifications are virtually eliminated, as the detector accurately recognizes that the detected target is iron.
MSF (Multi Signal Filter)
The MSF algorithm is the most versatile operating mode. It features a medium recovery speed that efficiently filters out or identifies most ferrous targets.
It is best suited for areas with low to moderate amounts of iron contamination and is the recommended mode for general-purpose detecting.
MM (Metal Trash Mode)
The MM algorithm, also known as Metal Trash Mode (MT), is the fastest and most dynamic search mode.
It is specifically designed for sites with a high concentration of iron debris, such as ancient settlements, archaeological locations, and heavily contaminated ground.
The audio response in MM mode is extremely sharp and precise, allowing the detector to separate closely spaced targets with exceptional accuracy. For the best performance, a slow sweep speed is recommended when using MM mode.
